Great news - we offer both an Android and iOS version of our app and they can be used by everyone with a compatible device!
It is important to note that both the student and parent experiences on the EdPlace website and the apps do vary slightly, so you will want to consider what you/your student wishes to do and which will be the best medium to use for this purpose. If you are a parent and you want to learn more about these differences, please click here. If you are a student or educator and you want to learn more about these differences in the student account, please click here.
Now we are going to explain how you can get hold of our apps and start using them.
Firstly, navigate to the app store on your device which will look like one of these options:
iOS / Apple App Store device: Android / Google Play Store device:
Next, type 'Edplace' in the search bar. You should see this icon:
Click on the word 'GET' or the 'Download' icon next to this listing.
Once the app has downloaded locally to your device, click on the EdPlace icon (shown above) to open it for the first time.
You will be presented with these options:
If you already have an active account and want to log in as a parent, click on 'Log in as parent'.
If you have not yet set up your parent account and chosen your subscription, click on 'Get started' to register your account and choose your preferred subscription. If you would like further information on our different subscriptions, please click here.
If your parent, teacher or tutor already has an active account, has created a linked student account and you want to log in as a student, click 'Log in as student'.
Once you have your account details you can log in.
If you are a parent, you will be asked to create a passcode to keep your app secure.
