Fantastic news - we certainly do!
EdPlace resources are designed to support your child throughout their entire academic journey from Year 1 to GCSE which, as you may be hyper-aware, includes a number of key milestones and exams. The most important of these are the GCSEs, at the end of your child's formal learning journey, which will test all of their learning throughout their entire school career and play a big role in defining their next steps as an adult into the worlds of further education or work.
Some kids 'test well', whilst others do not, and we know that exams are one of the major sources of anxiety and stress for both parents and students - don't worry, we're here to help!
Using EdPlace throughout your child's academic journey will ensure that they have the foundational skills solid and secure which they need to build on for exam readiness. We follow a three-stage process to prepare children for key exams:
We present revision-focused activities in a specific location for you and your child, so that they can be easily identified and used as and when required.
In your parent account on the website or apps, they can be easily found in the 'Browse and assign' menu. There is a specific tab labelled 'Revision' in each year and subject where we have resources, with a toggle between the 'Exam-style questions' and 'Practice papers' lists:

With your child's account, they can move between 'Learn' and 'Revise' on our website within each year and subject, depending on what type of activity they are looking for:

If students are 'browsing' activities within our apps, they will see the same menu option as you (see above image).
You will see Revision resources currently available on EdPlace to support the following key milestones:
- Year 1 Phonics Screening Test
- Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC)
- Year 6 SATs in English, maths and science (optional)
- 11+ exams in verbal, non-verbal and spatial reasoning, English and maths
- GCSEs in English, maths and science linked to the major exam boards (AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas)
Where we offer revision resources tailored to exam board specifications (11+ and GCSE), you and your child will also be required to choose the correct exam board to make their revision on EdPlace even more useful and relevant.
Plus, use our dynamic assessments to understand how to target their revision and maximise the time they have to revise. To see where we currently have assessments available, click on the 'Assessments' tab shown in the views above on our website or apps. To read more about our assessments, please click here.
