We're sorry to hear that you're thinking of leaving us for now! We hope that you have found your subscription to EdPlace to be an incredibly useful resource to support your child's learning at home. Depending on how you originally signed up for your subscription, you will need to cancel your subscription via the same method.
If you did not sign up via the Google Play Store, please click here to be redirected to a guide to cancel on the Apple App Store or here for a guide on how to cancel on the EdPlace website.
If you signed up originally via the Google Play Store, you'll only be able to cancel your subscription here too.
The easiest way to cancel (or renew) a subscription is by following these steps:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app;
- Tap on the Menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top, left corner;
- Select Subscriptions in the dropdown list;
- You’ll see a list of all your active and expired subscriptions here;
- If you wish to cancel one, press the desired active subscription and then select Cancel Subscription toward the bottom of the page in green;
- Follow the instructions and confirm that you wish to cancel.
This action will cancel your account immediately and no further payments will be made. Your account access will be maintained until the end of your current billing period, so if you paid monthly this will be for the remainder of the month until your next renewal was due and, if you paid annually, this will be for the remainder of the year until your next renewal was due.
At the end of your last billing period, your account will automatically be downgraded to our free version which gives you access for one student for up to 5 activities per month free of charge. To learn more about our free account, please click here.
Unfortunately, as your EdPlace subscription is managed by Google, we do not have any legal right or ability to cancel your account on your behalf if you signed up in this way. However, we are available to offer guidance and walk you through the process if you need help. Please contact us via help@edplace.com if you need any support to complete these steps.
We hope this article provides all the information you need to access and manage your subscription. If you are having any difficulties in logging in or accessing your account, please contact our friendly Customer Support team via email at help@edplace.com.
We hope to be able to support your family again in the future and thank you for being an EdPlace customer.
